The morning was tranquil
Rain ushered from the sky,
like it was a boon from the heaven.
Washing away all the worries
of yesterday.
Everywhere was calm,
As if,
the morning breeze was chanting
A prayer of serenity.
My mind, oh my mind
It was thinking of the new day
and its responsibilities
to be fulfilled for others.
No space for my loneliness,
no time to spend
with the words of mine.
I was gazing at the floor
With a void in my glance.
But there was going a fight,
Between
the two parts of my mind.
Whether to think, or to leave.
To rise an array of questions,
Or to be calm
and
stay quiet.
Soon
there was a harmony.
One part of my mind
continued its thoughts
And the other was still
As if
my mind surrendered itself
to the meditative chaos.
