I was feeling stressed by the relentless pressure at my work. The piece I was trying to write, couldn’t get the desired shape, and I was feeling restless and frustrated. At one point, I started dreaming the piece yet I couldn’t write it when I was awake. Then, one day, I decided to quit.
But before giving up on the piece, I wanted to try for the last time. I sat to write, and the words started flowing like the river was running towards its horizon.
The secret behind this magic was, that I sprinkled some moments of rest and zest to my life.
I paused.
I took a break.
I ate delicious homemade foods.
I drank plenty of water.
I read one chapter from the book I was currently reading.
I listened to good music.
I went for walking.
I relished with my favorite cup of green tea.
I had a good night’s sleep.
When I finally wrote the piece
to my utter surprise,
I said to myself,
“You only live once.”
