15 years ago:
As soon as Sushmita Ma’am entered the class, all the girls started making noise to disturb her. It was their passive protest against her strict discipline. Their class monitor, Raima, led the boycott.
Today:
As soon as Sushmita Ma’am, now in her late forties, entered the class, all the girls greeted her, “Happy Teachers’ Day!” Their loud voices took their class teacher back to her school day pranks. She came closer to Sushmita Ma’am, and sitting before her, she said, “Sorry, Ma’am.” Sushmita Ma’am happily forgave her naughtiest student, Raima Bose.
The girls cheerfully witnessed the reunion.
