Once in a lifetime

The maiden of the triangle

Aligns with the universe

Giving the chance

To be in the ‘harmony’

With the supreme light.

A short and impactful poem, Swarnali! Three is a powerful number in most cultures.

Really!? I didn’t know about it though. What’s the significance of the number 3? I have heard about 7 only. Eager to know from you, Sri! Thanks for your kind words.

Yep. Three is a number of divine. The Celtic trinity (maiden, mother, crone), the trimurtis (Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva), the Wiccan triple goddess, the pure ones in Taoism, etc. This was appropriated into Christianity as the holy trinity (father, son, holy spirit).

Symbols like triquetra and treskele also deal with the similar ‘tri’ concept. 🙂

The Holy Trinity does hold major significance in Hindu mythology too if I’m recalling correctly. That ‘Harmony’ is so elusive and we’re ever seeking. Hope we all can attain it someday. Nicely put in few words Swarnali

This is beautifully narrated and it’s depth touched me. Yes, without gratitude, life is meaningless.

The triangle is an interesting metaphor that represents balance & harmony. I pursued the idea of a ‘once in a lifetime’”‘ and ‘maiden of triangle’ experience, and in doing so, discovered a deeper grave interpretation—the path to eternity revealed itself. I shook my head in wonder.
