Sometimes through the fine drizzle of rain, sometimes through the whisper of the forest, sometimes through the quiet roars of the sea waves – the earth has its own song, always. Sometimes in the night concert of crickets, sometimes in the golden hour of dawn, sometimes in the silence of the fallen foliage – the earth is always singing. But amidst the constant rush of life, we forgot to listen to it.

This is why I have chosen my theme for A to Z Challenge 2026 – ‘EarthSong‘.

EarthSong is not only about the music of the earth, but it is also the solitude of a lonely planet, it is the silence that we forgot to embrace. Thus, my poetry series EarthSong’ is an invitation to my readers to pause, breathe, and listen to the quiet, ancient music of earth, that flows through soil, sky, water, and wind.

Sometimes, it lives in the early hours of dawn, sometimes in the gentle murmur of rivers, sometimes in the quiet trembling of leaves, and other times, in the meditative silence of mountains.

To listen to the EarthSong is to return home: to a place where we are breathing and echoing within the vast, eternal symphony – becoming and unbecoming one with nature.

This collection of poems explores the intimate relationship between humans and the earth. It reminds us that nature does not live away from us, but within us – in the rhythm which belongs to the earth.

And thus, each scent of rain, each whisper of breeze, each flicker of light becomes a verse in a language that needs solitude, silence, and a deep understanding of the very existence of our being, intertwined with nature’s own song – EarthSong.

I hope you will love reading my 26 poems on the theme of nature and its own music. To mention, not every poem is based on the theme of the music of nature; some are written to feel the essence of the elements of nature. When it comes to writing poems, I like to be free rather than follow a certain pattern or style. At first, I thought of writing haikus and haibuns for this series, but then, I decided the form where I can be myself – ‘free verse’ – allowing my carefree, peaceful, and still version to embrace expressions and release emotions through the art of poetry.
