I tried to hear the sound of nature. I went to the terrace and looked around.

A Bulbul was singing the melody of the monsoon. A frog was croaking in the nearby pond. The fine drizzle of rain was making a sweet sound in our garden.

But when I closed my eyes and tried to hear those sounds again, I heard only silence – a deep, meditative silence – nature’s own song.
