The baby stopped crying as soon as Bhumi took her on her lap. The smell of her body, the soft touch of her skin, the sleeping face on her shoulder – Bhumi felt so much peace when holding the little life.

A mother was born. Bhumi proved the doctors wrong.

    There is a statue on a highway in Bombay that says a child gives birth to a mother. Your dribble reminded me of that statue. In 50 words you have told a poignant story 🙂
