I write my words
On the sand
They become the sand grains
Mingling with my footprints.
I make idols
With the clay
Then I break them
And turn them into dust.
I take the sand grains and the dust
And give them to you, my universe.
I don’t want
Nirvana
Moksha
Mukti
For I find salvation
In the circle of creation and destruction
In the circle of birth and rebirth
In the circle of surrendering and oneness
For every moment, every fraction of a second
I feel liberated, I feel enlightened, I feel Illuminated
Rising from the fire,
Chanting the hymn to eternity.
