Dragonflies
weave the string of light,
with their whispers in a golden flight.
Before the advent of rain
They gather to celebrate
The drops of happiness from heaven.
I see a reflection in their jeweled eyes
Like holding tiny lanterns in the afternoon sky.
They leave,
Yet the hush hovers above
As I travel back in time.
