Beginning the day with love, gratitude and peace

Day 2

Word of the Day – Beginning

“I’m always thinking about creating. My future starts when I wake up every morning. Every day I find something creative to do with my life.” – Miles Davis

The beginning is the most important part of life. Think about the day when you learned to talk or the day when you learned to walk or the day when you learned to write and spell. It was a special day for you and also for your parents as you learned a new thing in life. This way, every new beginning comes in your life and you love to celebrate your day with flowers, food, and friends.

But when it comes to beginning mindful living, you need to begin the day with mindfulness. And how could you do that?

With a mindful morning, of course!

In your one month challenge of finding inner peace, this is your first task to do when you wake up and start the new day.

Every day is a new beginning of life, you must have heard this before. Every day is a new hope to live life to the fullest, a new opportunity for a fresh start and a gift of new twenty four hours for you.

So, how about dedicating the first hour of your day to finding inner peace and calm?

Here begins your day of Beginning.

The task of the day:

The day begins way before you wake up in the morning. It is said, morning shows the day. But it’s also true that the night shows the morning. The way you go to your bed and fall asleep the previous night draw an impact on the next morning.
So try to be quiet and peaceful at night when you’re going to bed, and welcome a peaceful sleep. Then, after the night ends, your morning will begin.
At first, wake up early in the morning.
Start the morning with three things in heart: Love, Gratitude, and Peace.

Fill your heart with love for everything on this beautiful earth. Think of yourself as a messenger of love.

Then comes gratitude. It’s always a great idea to start the day saying thanks to life and the Almighty. Be grateful for everything you have, here and now. Be grateful for the beautiful morning. Be grateful for every breath in life. Be grateful for the smile on your face, love in your heart, and peace in your mind.

Then comes peace. Just think for once, if you gather all your worries right from the very first minute you wake up in the morning, how will you escape from worries for the rest of the day?
So, keeping away all your griefs and sorrows, worries and anxious thoughts, fill your heart with peace. Feel a wave of peace in your heart. Let the peace flow in your body, mind and soul. From this very first realization of peace, gradually, you will be directed towards absolute calm.

Quote of the day:

Every morning, there begins a new journey towards the blissful truths of life.

– The Saffron Storyteller

Affirmations of the day:
I have a sea of love in my heart. Everywhere I look, everyone, I see, I shower love to them all. Forgetting all the other words, now I remember only one word, that is, love. I am here to spread love, hope and smile. I am here to give everyone around me a lovely hug and a bright smile of hope. I am here to flood them in love. I have a wave of bliss in my heart. I can feel the calmness everywhere around me. I can feel the stillness in my heart, in my mind. I am grateful for everything this morning gifted me. I am blessed to have them all. Not everyone is able to see the beauty of this present moment. But I am. Therefore, I am grateful to the divine power that helps me to see miracles in little things.
I am blessed to start a new journey. I am here to begin anew.

Write in your journal:
Wake up slowly, letting the wave of peace flow in your mind, body, and soul. Then, observe the morning and choose some nice things to write in your journal. It may be the things that grab your attention. The colours you love to see in them. The smells you like to inhale. The sounds you like to hear.
Then, write about the things you are grateful for in life. Write them whatever you can remember. Don’t be hard on yourself. Do everything gently, with ease.

The last step of this process:
Before you leave the place, assure yourself by saying:
“Today is a great day for a new beginning. Today I am reborn with new hope and purpose. Today is a beautiful day to plan something new as I want to start a new journey. I will learn a new skill. I will learn how to be more mindful. I will learn how to find peace in everyday life. I will let this state of bliss remain in mind for the whole day. I will focus on here and now. I will come back tomorrow with a new purpose and try to learn a new way of living mindfully.

I am here to receive more peace and more calm in my life.”

This is all for today. We will come back here tomorrow once again with a new way of mindful living. Till then, be still, be calm, be mindful.

  1. Wow, Swarnali! I am actually feeling much more calm and peaceful towards the end of the post. Saying out those affirmations loud. Where did you find them? Or are they your own? I’ll be surely coming back for more such posts. #BlogchatterA2Z

  2. Wow Swarnali… Reading your words itself imbibes a sense of peace and calm in the mind. Telling yourself in the first hour of the morning to be grateful for what you have is a great way to start the day. Will try practicing it. It’s easier said than done but if one can do it then they can go more closer to peace than ever.

  3. Wow, the beginning is what matters the most. Loved the line – Fill your heart with love for everything on this beautiful earth. Think of yourself as a messenger of love.
Filling ourselves with gratitude at the beginning of the day sure will bring positivity to the whole day for sure. Seeing beauty in the present moment, writing in a journal, such small things can completely change our mindset.
Keep spreading the love, hope and happiness dear.
