Rediscovering your values and ethics

Day 22

Word of the day: Values

Life’s trials will test you, and shape you, but don’t let them change who you are.”

– Aaron Lauritsen

This is a different kind of post. I am writing this one based on my personal realization. When I started my journey with mindfulness, I started working with the peace of mind. I like to study ways of finding inner peace and calm. While working with the theme of peace, one day, I realized that when you are able to make conscious choice and make peace with your choice, you will find inner calm. When you will believe in your choice, you will start respecting your values and ethics. That time, you will walk one step closer to finding inner peace.

Here begins your day of rediscovering your values and ethics.

The task of the day:
Come to solitude and sit. Relax your body. Vacuum your mind. Try to avoid all kinds of negative thoughts and worries. This time all you need is to be calm and positive.
You are here to make your mind peaceful.
Try to find some truths that you strongly believe in. Some thoughts that make you dive deeper into the sea of wisdom. Remember some resolutions that you took in past and they make you proud. Try to show some respect to your values that make you stand strong. They’re the foundation of your personality. You are different from others because your values build you, they define your uniqueness.
But the question is, do you find peace in your values? Do you respect your values and ethics? Do you hold believe in your own beliefs and choices?
You must have the answer in affirmative. Because they behold your peace.
Respect your choices. Respect your values. Respect your ethics.
Believe in your beliefs. Behold your peace.

Quote of the day:

Believe in your choice, respect your values and ethics. Behold your peace.

– The Saffron Storyteller

Affirmations of the day:
“Today, I feel calm, I feel content. I have discovered some beautiful truths about my life. I make peace with my choice. I make peace with my beliefs. I respect my values, my ethics for life. And they make way towards finding inner calm and peace.
I feel blessed. I feel privileged. Now, I am more focused on my life’s goals and purpose.”

Write in your journal:
Today, you have to write all the answers you have found while doing the process. Maybe you are unable to find answers of some of them, don’t get worried and resist yourself being anxious. Don’t get panicked. Just relax and calm down. Life will help you finding those answers very soon. Have faith.

The last step of this process:
Before you leave the place, assure yourself by saying: “Today, I feel peaceful. I have gathered clarity about my vision for life.
I have learned some beautiful truths of life. I have found some beautiful answers that will add more value in my life. I will come back tomorrow with a new purpose and try to learn a new way of living mindfully.

I am here to receive more peace and more calm in my life.”

This is all for today. We will come back here tomorrow once again with a new way of mindful living. Till then, be still, be calm, be mindful.
